5th International InstaFASota Contest
How do you interpret the concept of “plot” in Alejandro de la Sota’s work? And, most importantly, how would you represent it graphically?
This is the proposal that we make from the Foundation for the fifth edition of the InstaFASota International Competition that will take place on Instagram.
Continuing with the success of participation in previous editions, the objective will be to design an elaborate image, of free creation or interpretation and that, based on any of the built works or the projects of Alejandro de la Sota, captures the theme of the competition. The technique remains free, being able to choose between photography, drawing, photomontage or collage.
The only requirements to participate are to publish the creation on Instagram, including:
– Motto or title of the work.
– The hashtags: @fundacionasota, #InstaFASota5, @saintgobain_es and @thermochip.
The three winning proposals will receive a certificate and their work will be included in a catalogue and a traveling exhibition that will tour the participating architecture schools. Cash prizes will also be awarded, as well as monographs of works by Alejandro de la Sota and a reproduction with a serial number of a sketch or drawing by AdlS for the winner. In this edition, a prize will also be raffled among all the participants in the competition and a few runners-up prizes that the jury reserves the right to award based on the level of the proposals submitted.
The deadline for submission will be February 10, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Spanish peninsular time.
