IV INSTAFASOTA INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION. ALEJANDRO DE LA SOTA: CONTEXTS
What relationship exists between a work and the environment in which it is located? And how is it represented graphically?
This is the proposal we make from the Alejandro de la Sota Foundation for the fourth edition of the InstaFASota International Contest that will take place on Instagram.
After the success of the three previous editions, the objective will be to design an elaborate image, of free creation or interpretation and that, based on any of the built works or projects of Alejandro de la Sota, reflects the theme of the contest. The technique remains free, being able to choose between photography, drawing, photomontage or collage.
The only requirements to participate are to publish the creation on Instagram, including:
– Motto or title of the work.
– The following hashtags: @fundacionasota, #InstaFASota4, @saintgobain_es and @thermochip.
The three winning proposals will receive an accreditation certificate and their work will be included in a catalog and a traveling exhibition that will tour the participating architecture schools. A cash prize of €450 will also be distributed, as well as monographs of works by Alejandro de la Sota, an invitation to attend the celebration of the VIII International Congress of Pioneers of Modern Spanish Architecture and a reproduction with a serial number of a sketch or AdlS drawing for the winner. In this edition, a prize will also be raffled among all contest participants and second prizes that the jury reserves to award based on the level of the proposals presented.
The delivery deadline will be February 7, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Spanish peninsular time.
